Why we won't review a game we didn't finish
Early impressions are useful, but they're not a review. Plenty of games open strong and fall apart by the third act, and the opposite happens too — a slow start that blooms into something special once a system unlocks.
So our rule is simple: if we call something a full review, someone here saw it through or played well past the point of forming a fair judgement. For longer RPGs and campaigns that means real time, sometimes weeks.
It slows us down, and we're fine with that. We'd rather publish fewer reviews we trust than a steady stream of surface-level takes based on a trailer and twenty minutes.
When you see a score on Jetty Hub, that's the number after the shine wore off and the honeymoon ended. That's the number worth trusting.
